Dr Russell Duncan is an Obstetrician & Gynaecologist at Mater Hospital, North Sydney.

Dr Russell Duncan completed his Fellowship in Obstetrics and Gynaecology (FRANZCOG) at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Sydney followed by a two-year post-graduate Fellowship in Advanced Laparoscopic and Robotic Surgery through the Australian Gynaecological Endoscopy Society (AGES). He also trained at the Royal Darwin, Gosford and Canterbury hospitals.

Obstetrics

Having undertaken his training at busy tertiary hospitals, Dr Duncan has extensive experience in managing high-risk pregnancies including twins, gestational diabetes, and other complex medical and surgical issues.

Gynaecology

Dr Duncan can offer non-surgical and surgical management of all gynaecological conditions. In addition to general gynaecology training, he has also undertaken additional training in advanced laparoscopic and robotic surgery and has a particular interest in endometriosis surgery and laparoscopic (key-hole) hysterectomy.  He is proficient in vaginal and open surgery as well as minimally invasive and complex surgery and will tailor your operation to your individual situation.
