Biography

A/Prof Andrew MacIsaac is a highly experienced Melbourne-based cardiologist. He is the Director of Cardiology at St Vincent’s Hospital and provides specialist care and diagnosis to people who have developed diseases of the cardiovascular system.

A/Prof MacIsaac specialises in acute cardiac conditions, interventional cardiology and valvular heart disease.

Andrew undertook cardiology training at St Vincent’s and Prince Henry’s Hospitals, then travelled overseas for further training with fellowships in interventional cardiology at the Cleveland Clinic and then Stanford University Medical Centre in the USA.

He has active research interests in coronary and pulmonary vascular physiology and indigenous health.
