Biography
Dr Adam Mackie’s obstetric interests include problems in early pregnancy, women with diabetes or blood pressure problems and women who have previously had caesarean sections.
Dr Mackie is an experienced obstetrician and gynaecologist based on the lower north shore. He provides personalised, high-quality and evidence-based care. He schedules appointments with time to listen and understand your individual needs. He works closely with his practice midwife so that you experience personalised and holistic care.
As a highly regarded consultant at two of Sydney’s best maternity hospitals Dr Mackie has the experience and confidence to manage all types of pregnancies. Dr Mackie trained at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital where he was both the Obstetric and Pelvic Surgery Fellow. On completion of his training, he took his passion for obstetrics to Europe working as the Labour Ward Research Fellow at the world-renowned National Maternity Hospital in Dublin.
Dr Mackie is a Senior Lecturer with the University of Sydney Medical Program, committed to training the next generation of women’s health specialists and has numerous publications and presentations in peer reviewed journals.
