Dr Adam Mackie’s obstetric interests include problems in early pregnancy, women with diabetes or blood pressure problems and women who have previously had caesarean sections.

Dr Mackie graduated from the University of Sydney completing his specialist training in obstetrics and gynaecology at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital. He then completed a labour ward research fellowship at the world-renowned National Maternity Hospital in Dublin.

He provides advice and management for all general gynaecological problems including the investigation and management of abnormal bleeding, abnormal PAP smears or HPV results, pelvic pain and contraception.

Dr Mackie is committed to teaching and research through his roles as a senior clinical lecturer with the University of Sydney and mentor to trainee specialists. He is currently participating in a range of research projects to improve women’s care experiences while giving birth. He has numerous presentations and publications in peer reviewed journals.
