Biography

Dr Andrew Pickering is an Obstetrician & Gynaecologist at Mater Hospital, North Sydney.

Dr Andrew Pickering trained initially at Leicester University and qualified as a doctor in England. Andy then commenced postgraduate training at Leicester and Leeds before relocating to Sydney where he completed further training at Royal North Shore Hospital culminating in being awarded Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (FRANZCOG).

Dr Pickering is a partner in the Northern Beaches largest and longest-running specialist Women's Health Practice.  Manly Beach Babies has looked after the women of the Northern Beaches for over 30 years, caring for women throughout their reproductive life and beyond from our prestigious rooms in the heart of Manly's CBD.  Manly Beach Babies have helped the safe arrival of thousands of babies.  As a Specialist Obstetrician and Gynaecologist, he provides low and high obstetrics and a full range of gynaecology services.

Andy is married and together with his wife are raising two teenage girls.  Andy lives on the northern beaches and is an active part of the Northern Beaches community.  Andy is a keen runner, and with his girls an active in the local Scout community.
