Biography

Dr Daniel Anderson is an Otolaryngologist, Head and Neck Surgeon who specialises in all conditions of the ear, nose, throat, head and neck, including parotid, thyroid and skin cancer surgery.

Daniel graduated from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery in 2007. He subsequently completed a number of years of training in General Surgery before transitioning to the subspecialty field of Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery.

During his training he had the privilege to work in some of Queensland’s world leading head and neck centres, learning from some of the best surgeons in the field. Since completing his training, Daniel has worked as a specialist at the Queensland Children's Hospital, Gold Coast University Hospital and privately on the Gold Coast. Daniel moved to Toowoomba in 2023 to be closer to family.

Daniel is passionately involved in registrar training and teaching and is committed to the ongoing education of the next generation of surgeons and other medical practitioners. He is keen to work collaboratively with local GPs, dentists and allied health care practitioners.

Daniel’s goal as a surgeon is to provide each and every patient with the care and compassion he would expect his own family to receive. He is passionate about all aspects of ENT and is looking forward to helping improve access to ENT services for patients from the Darling Downs and surrounding regions.
