Biography

Dr David Ende is a urologist who has been working at St Vincent’s Public and Private Hospitals for 18 years.

Dr Ende has extensive experience with laser kidney stone surgery and this forms a large part of his surgical practice. He is also experienced in external shock wave lithotripsy and metabolic evaluation of stone disease, which is also an important component of this work.

David treats benign prostate enlargement using various modalities depending on your characteristics and needs. He performs urodynamic evaluation where indicated in more complex cases.

He is skilled in robotic and laparoscopic cancer surgery and neobladder for bladder cancer. David also performs prosthesis surgery — providing artificial sphincters for male incontinence, and penile prostheses for erectile dysfunction.

He previously completed a PhD in cancer medicine, and is a Conjoint Senior Lecturer at the University of Notre Dame.

Better and fairer care. Always.

In a rapidly transforming world, St Vincent's has created a refreshed vision and strategy to help shape Australia's health and aged care future.
