Biography

Dr David Ying is a plastic surgeon consulting at St Vincent’s Private Hospital, East Melbourne. He treats people with respect, listens to their needs intently to ensures he provides expert recommendations, surgical and post-operative care, to attain the best possible results.

Dr Ying has expertise and surgical skills in reconstructive hand surgery, breast augmentation, breast reduction, eyelid surgery, tummy tucks and male breast reduction.

David graduated with honours from the University of Melbourne. He then underwent general surgery training for two years before beginning his specialist plastic surgery training in Sydney. On his return to Melbourne, he trained at several hospitals including the Royal Melbourne Hospital and The Royal Children’s Hospital.

David is involved in training the next generation of plastic surgeons and he leads a team of surgeons in Labasa, Fiji on behalf of Interplast once a year.
