Biography

Dr Georgina Cameron is a Melbourne-based gastroenterologist dedicated to providing timely, personalised care to all patients with focus on communication and involving people in their management decisions.

Dr Cameron has experience in gastroscopy and colonoscopy, enteroscopy, radiofrequency ablation for dysplastic/neoplastic Barrett’s oesophagus and endoscopic mucosal resection.

Georgina graduated with honours from the University of Melbourne and completed her specialist gastroenterology training at Geelong Hospital and St Vincent's Hospital, Melbourne, subsequently undertaking an advanced endoscopy fellowship at St Vincent's. She obtained her PhD from the University of Melbourne in 2017, on the topic of endoscopic management of Barrett's oesophagus and oesophageal cancer.
