Biography
An experienced robotic, endoscopic and open urologic surgeon, specialising in uro-oncology, particularly the evaluation and multidisciplinary treatment of prostate cancer with surgery and brachytherapy.
Dr Coombes has extensive experience in the public and private health sectors and has worked in overseas health systems. He is a published author of original articles in the medical literature and has lectured extensively to undergraduate and postgraduate candidates. He is currently also training supervisor for urology to Concord Hospital.He consults at St Leonards rooms, and operates at the Mater Hospital Sydney, North Shore Private Hospital , and Concord Repatriation General Hospital.
