Biography

Dr Grant Kleinschmidt is a Toowoomba-based neurologist providing comprehensive and personalised management to facilitate each person’s needs and lifestyle.

While he has a particular interest in epilepsy, Grant also treats other neurological conditions including neuromuscular inflammatory disease, demyelinating disease (such as multiple sclerosis), movement disorders (such as Parkinson’s disease, stroke and vascular diseases of the brain.

Grant graduated from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery. After he completed his training, he worked in general practice for several years. Deciding to pursue his interest in neurology, he undertook his specialist neurologist training in Brisbane, before returning home to the Darling Downs region.

Grant is also certified to administer botulinum toxin for neurological disorders including migraine, dystonia and post-stroke spasticity.
