Biography
Dr Jason Huang is a gastroenterologist with clinical interests in endoscopic ultrasound, endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography, weight loss procedures, colonoscopy, and reflux.
Dr Jason Huang is a gastroenterologist with clinical interests in endoscopic ultrasound (EUS), endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP), colonoscopy, bariatric endoscopy, weight loss surgery, and reflux.Jason completed his advanced gastroenterology training at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s (RBWH) and Princess Alexandra Hospitals. He undertook a further 3-year fellowship in advanced diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy: the first at RBWH, then the subsequent 2 years at the eminent HH Chao Comprehensive Digest Diseases Center at the University of California.
A keen academic, Jason is routinely invited to speak at expert national and international meetings, has previously given plenary presentations at the American Society of Gastroenterology’s annual conference, and has been awarded American College of Gastroenterology’s Presidential Award for research in endoscopy.
He also holds a current appointment as Senior Lecturer at the University of Queensland.
