Biography

Dr Joanna Lee is an Australian-trained and qualified neurosurgeon operating at The Mater Hospital. Her interests are in general neurosurgery and pain medicine.

Dr Lee completed her undergraduate medical degree at the University of Melbourne in 2003, post graduate neurosurgical training in Sydney in 2014, and is in the process of completing her fellowship in pain medicine.

Joanna is a fellow of the Royal Australian College of Surgeons and a member of the Neurosurgical Association of Australia and International Association of Pain. Dr Lee is an Australian trained and qualified Neurosurgeon at Mater Hospital.

She spent 2 years in Biomedical Science at Monash University before going on to complete her undergraduate medical studies from the University of Melbourne in 2003.
She then undertook neurosurgical training in Sydney, obtaining RACS fellowship in Neurosurgery in 2014.
