Biography

Dr Katrina Reardon is a neurologist with a special interest, and a wide range of experience in the treatment of neuromuscular disorders. She is committed to achieving the best possible outcomes to help people improve their quality of life.

Dr Reardon has a special interest in neuromuscular disorders including muscular dystrophies, peripheral nerve diseases, inherited myopathies, myositis and motor neuron disease.

Katrina graduated with honours from the University of Tasmania medical school in 1991 and then undertook her neurology training at Monash medical Centre and St Vincent’s Hospital, completing further training in the neuromuscular field at St Vincent’s Hospital. She completed her PhD studies at the University of Melbourne in 2001.

Katrina is involved in clinical research and clinical trials into the diagnosis of muscular dystrophies. She has been published in peer-reviewed journals and regularly attends international conferences on neuromuscular disorders.
