Biography

Dr Kylie Snook is a specialist breast surgeon with over 10 years experience in consultant practice. She is based on the lower North Shore in Sydney, exclusively treating patients with breast disease.

Dr Snook is a member of Breast Cancer Trials and embeds research into her surgical practice by actively recruiting patients for local and international trials. Kylie is also a visiting medical officer at BreastScreen.

Kylie undertook her general surgery training at Royal North Shore Hospital and the Northern Sydney Area Health Service. After gaining her fellowship in 2006 she spent two years in Guildford, UK as the clinical research fellow in oncoplastic breast surgery. Here she gained post fellowship expertise in reconstructive techniques and oncoplastic approaches to breast surgery and research experience particularly in sentinel node biopsy.

Dr Snook in a clinical senior lecturer at the University of Sydney Northern Clinical School. Dr Snook is on the Medical Advisory Committee and on the board of the Mater Doctors’ Association at the Mater Hospital. Kylie has also been a medical advisor for the McGrath Foundation and Reclaim Your Curves.
