Biography

Lisa is a paediatrician who is specially trained in caring for newborn babies, with 20 years’ experience in intensive care, special care nurseries and postnatal wards.

Dr Fox has an interest in the long-term wellbeing of babies born in difficult circumstances, including those born prematurely and in less developed health systems.

Her current professional focus, other than her passion for caring for babies and their families, is passing on her expertise to support others in providing quality neonatal care. This includes teaching neonatal resuscitation techniques throughout Victoria.

Lisa travels to Mongolia regularly to teach and support Mongolian neonatal paediatricians in looking after sick and preterm babies.
