Biography

Dr Manju Chandrasegaram is a general surgeon specialising in hepato-pancreato-biliary (HPB) surgery.

Dr Manju Chandrasegaram specialises in hepato-pancreato-biliary (HPB) surgery and is committed to improving patient outcomes by drawing on the latest clinical research and surgical techniques.

Manju gained her medical degree from the University of Auckland in 2003 before moving to Sydney to complete her advanced general surgery training. She subsequently carried out subspecialty training in HPB surgery at Royal Adelaide Hospital, Flinders Medical Centre, and Bankstown Hospital. She has also undertaken a clinical research fellowship with the Australian Gastrointestinal Trials Group and, in 2015, completed a Doctorate in Clinical Surgery at the University of Sydney.

Manju is actively involved in clinical research and her work has been published in a number of distinguished peer-reviewed journals. She has presented nationally and internationally at expert HPB surgery meetings, and is currently appointed Senior Lecturer at the University of Queensland.
