Biography

Dr Miranda Robinson is an obstetrician and gynaecologist who is passionate about providing holistic open and down-to -earth care to women for all their obstetric and gynaecological needs. She is especially interested in listening and learning about people’s stories.

Miranda is accomplished in managing complex pregnancies including twins, VBAC vaginal breech birth. She is skilled in the gynaecological treatment of abnormal pap smears, heavy periods and endometriosis. She has developed a special interest in neurodiverse affirming care in women’s/folk AFAB health and birthing practices.

Miranda attended university in New Zealand and graduated from Otago University, Dunedin in 1994 where she was awarded the obstetric prize in her 5th year. She moved to Australia in 1997 and began her training in obstetrics and gynaecology at Monash Medical Centre in 1999. She completed her training at the Mercy Hospital for Women in 2003 and in the UK at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital in 2004.
