Biography

Dr Nicolas De Luca is a consulting gastroenterologist at St Vincent’s Private Hospital. He embraces the use of new technologies in interventional endoscopy and places a high value on the importance of good doctor-patient communication to find treatment approaches that meet each individual’s unique needs and optimise treatment outcomes.

Dr De Luca is accredited by the Gastroenterological Society of Australia to perform gastroscopy, colonoscopy, endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP), capsule endoscopy and enteroscopy.

Nicolas graduated from Imperial College, London, with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery and a Bachelor of Science, before going on to undertake gastroenterology and hepatology specialist training and becoming a Member of the Royal College of Physicians in 1996. Pursuing further specialty training, he moved to Australia and was awarded a Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in 2000.
