Biography

Dr Nisal Gange is a geriatrician, stroke and rehabilitation physician with over 5 years’ experience in Toowoomba, both in his clinical practice and in his contribution to public health awareness.

Dr Gange's focus is on stroke and transient ischaemic attack (TIA), Parkinson’s disease, and complex geriatric conditions including dementia, falls and medication management.

After training in Oxford in the UK, Nisal worked as a physician for a number of years before emigrating with his family to Australia. As well as consulting for the St Michael’s Rehabilitation Unit in St Vincent’s Private Hospital, he is also the Director of Geriatrics, Adult Rehabilitation and Stroke Services at Toowoomba Hospital. He offers both inpatient and in-situ outpatient services, as well as private practice consultations.
