Biography

Dr Rohan Brunello is an orthopaedic surgeon with a special interest in hip and knee arthroplasty, pelvic and acetabular reconstruction, and trauma.

Dr Brunello graduated from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery with honours. After completing his specialist orthopaedic training in Australia, he pursued a fellowship in hip and knee arthroplasty, and pelvic and acetabular trauma and reconstruction at St George’s Hospital in the UK. During his time there he focused on complex primary arthroplasty, revision arthroplasty requiring femoral and acetabular reconstruction, and the treatment of infected replacement joints.

Upon his return to Australia in 2012, Rohan started practising privately, as well as consulting at a number of hospitals across Brisbane. He holds the position of Senior Lecturer at the University of Queensland and is on the teaching faculty at the Queensland University of Technology for their surgical anatomy diploma.
