Biography

Dr Sean Flanagan is a dual fellowship trained ear, nose and throat (ENT) surgeon (otolaryngology, head and neck surgery). He has experience managing adult and paediatric disorders, subspecialising in diseases of the ear, tumours of the skull base, and surgical correction of hearing loss including Cochlear™ implantation and bone anchored hearing aids.

Dr Flanagan is a Conjoint Lecturer at the University of New South Wales and is actively involved in training both local ENT registrars and international visiting fellows. He presents regularly to the public, patient groups, GPs and ENT trainees, as well as at local and international conferences. He also coordinates clinical research into the management of vestibular schwannomas and outcomes in hearing loss and cochlear implantation.
