Biography

Dr Stephen Cole is a Melbourne-based obstetrician & gynaecologist who is very experienced in obstetrics. He cares for women with both uncomplicated pregnancies and is also qualified to treat more challenging and complex obstetric conditions.

Dr Cole has a primary interest in obstetrics from low to high-risk (including caesarean, multiple births and recurrent miscarriage).

In addition to standard obstetric training, Stephen has further training and qualifications in the specialties of maternal-foetal medicine and obstetric ultrasound. Maternal-foetal medicine specialists are specially trained and experienced in caring for women with the highest risk and most complex pregnancies.

Stephen is also heavily involved in teaching of medical student trainees in obstetrics and gynaecology, as well as maternal-foetal medicine trainees.
