Biography
Dr Stephen Tattersall is a Sydney-trained gastroenterologist providing comprehensive gastroenterology care and endoscopy.
Dr Tattersall’s practice has a philosophy of providing high quality, safe, evidence-based care tailored to the individual needs of patients. The pillars of his practice are excellent communication, evidence-based investigations and treatments, high-quality and safe endoscopy, modern, state-of-the-art equipment and patient-centred care.Dr Tattersall studied medicine at the University of Sydney and graduated with honours in 2001. He trained as a physician and gastroenterologist at hospitals including Concord, Liverpool and St Vincent’s. After becoming a fellow of the Royal Australian College of Physicians he spent 2 years pursuing his interest in inflammatory bowel disease as a senior fellow at the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford, UK.
Dr Tattersall has published in peer-reviewed medical journals on topics including inflammatory bowel disease, viral hepatitis, chronic pancreatitis, Helicobacter pylori and iron deficiency.
