Biography

Dr Wee-Kheng Soo is a specialist geriatrician (aged care specialist) and medical oncologist who believes that better health outcomes can be achieved using an evidence-based approach.

Dr Soo’s special interests include comprehensive geriatric assessment, falls and frailty, cancer supportive care and lymphoedema.. He is committed to providing quality person-centred care that integrates the person’s health needs and functioning with their goals and values. He believes that better health outcomes can be achieved by working in partnership with the patient, family, caregivers and health professionals.

Dr Kheng Soo is a clinician-researcher. He is a PhD candidate at Eastern Health Clinical School, Monash University. He completed his medical degree through the University of Melbourne in 2003. Subsequently, he was awarded dual fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in 2012, and achieved a clinical diploma in palliative medicine in 2012 and a diploma in geriatric oncology in 2019.

In his clinical work, he has special interests in comprehensive geriatric assessment, falls and frailty, cancer supportive care and lymphoedema.
