Biography

Mr Ivan Bhaskar is a Melbourne-based neurosurgeon with a sub-specialisation in keyhole spine surgery. He prides himself on being attentive and a good listener before making his recommendation to attain the optimal outcome.

Mr Bhaskar has over 15 years’ experience conducting complex brain and spinal surgery.

He specialises in keyhole spine surgeries with state-of-the-art equipment to aid in the management of back pain and complex spinal conditions including the treatment of disc prolapses, degenerative disc disease (which require fusion operations), fractures of the spine and all types of tumours of the spine.

In addition to performing robot-assisted spinal surgeries, Ivan has trained further to provide endoscopic spine surgeries in selected cases.
