Biography

Mr Teixeira is a specialist plastic surgeon in Melbourne. He undertook fellowship training in Australia at The Alfred Hospital and The Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne, having trained and qualified in Brazil.

Rodrigo is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS) and a member of the Australian Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS), Australasian Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons and International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS). He is also actively involved in leadership, education and training.
He is Head of Unit at The Northern Hospital and a Senior Lecturer of the Melbourne University, School of Medicine.

Rodrigo believes that cosmetic and reconstructive plastic surgery are inseparable. His experience in Craniofacial and Cleft Palate Surgery are valuable assets when performing Aesthetic Facial Surgery and Functional Rhinoplasty.

Mr Teixeira is based in Melbourne at the Melbourne Institute of Plastic Surgery, located near Victoria Gardens, in Richmond.
