Professor Gerald Fogarty is Director of Radiation Oncology at St Vincent’s Hospital Sydney, and a senior radiation oncologist with Melanoma Institute of Australia. He trained at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre.

With a keen interest in research, Gerald is a Board Member of the Australian and New Zealand Melanoma Trials Group, and is the chief investigator of an International Phase III Trial investigating the radiotherapy of melanoma brain metastases.

Gerald is widely published, particularly in the areas of prostate cancer and salvage volumetric modulated arc therapy for pelvic lymph nodes, and has contributed to over 80 publications. His career goal is to establish level one evidence for the role of radiation in skin cancer. He is currently the Master of Warrane College, an affiliated residential college at the University of New South Wales.
