St Vincent's Private Hospital Werribee is pleased to invite you to our face-to-face GP evening 'Women’s Health Overview’.

RACGP: Attendees will receive 4 CPD Points.

Date:  Thursday, 27th May 2021

Time: Registration commences at 6:30 PM, with the evening starting officially at 7:00 PM. We encourage attendees to arrive before 7:00 in order to allow ample time to check-in and be seated.

Location: St Vincent's Private Hospital Werribee, 240 Hoppers Lane, Werribee 3030.

The event will be held in the Seminar Room. St Vincent's are dedicated to the safety of our guests and the community. This room will have a capacity of 22 people.

Parking: Parking is available at the front entrance of the Hospital. Please see Camille Russo - your GP liaison - for a parking voucher on the night.

Please note: Due to the capacity of the space, this event will have a limit of 18 attendees. We will livestream the event for those who wish to participate but cannot physically attend, or for those who miss out on an in-person ticket.

Dr Anthony Hyett, Breast Surgeon

Mr Anthony Hyett graduated from Melbourne University Medical School in 1987 and completed his residency at St Vincent’s Hospital Melbourne. In 1990 he was appointed as a Melbourne University anatomy demonstrator and also tutor at St Hilda’s and Ormond College in anatomy and physiology. In 1997, he completed the 2nd part examination in general surgery and was awarded his FRACS. He then completed a further 3 years post fellowship with subspecialisation in breast surgery in London.

Dr Gopalan Poovalingam, Gynaecologist

Dr Gopalan Poovalingam is a gynaecologist with a special interest in urogynaecology, minimal invasive advanced laparoscopy and hysteroscopy surgery. He is one of the very few leading gynaecologists in Melbourne who practices Rapid Recovery after Gynaecological Surgery (RRGS) improving outcomes of surgery and increasing the patient’s satisfaction.  Gopalan has provided women with high quality gynaecological services for more than a decade.

Dr Zeng Yap , General Surgeon

Miss Zeng is a general, thyroid and endocrine surgeon who graduated from the University of Melbourne with Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in 2003. Zeng prides herself in being a good listener. She will ensure that her patients thoroughly understand their medical condition and the surgery they are about to have, and that they receive the best possible care in a timely manner.
