Mater Hospital GP Education Program

Mater Hospital runs an interactive professional development program for GPs in conjunction with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP), the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (ACRRM) and our Visiting Medical Officer (VMO) community. 

We are proud to be approved as Endorsed Providers of GP education with the RACGP in their internationally recognised Quality Improvement and Continuing Professional Development (QI&CPD) Program.

The program:

• Is structured to meet specific GP needs
• Is based on principles of interactive adult education
• Serves to reinforce GP knowledge and skills
• Is subject to a continual quality review process to ensure quality improvement and high standards of GP education
