Self-funded surgery for patients

Helping your patients access surgery without health insurance

Our self-funded program gives uninsured patients quick access to private specialist care and help them avoid long public hospital wait times.

This page is for specialists, practice managers and practice staff requesting a fee estimate on behalf of a patient. One request covers one patient and one procedure.

How it works
Our team is here to help at every step, from the first request through to admission.
  1. Consultation

On consultation, the patient chooses to proceed as a self-funded patient.
  2. Request an estimate

The practice completes the form below. The request will be sent to the selected hospital.
  3. Estimate prepared

The hospital prepares the fee estimate and sends it to the practice.
  4. Treatment plan discussed

The practice discusses the recommended treatment plan with the patient.
  5. Book the procedure

Once the patient accepts, the practice sends the surgical list to the hospital bookings team.
  6. Informed patient consent

The patient receives their formal fee estimate based on the recommended treatment plan and confirms they are happy to proceed.
