The Clive Berghofer Breast Centre at St Vincent’s Private Hospital Toowoomba opened to much applause in December 2025.

The beautiful consulting suites for Breast Health Toowoomba were lauded by local specialists, GPs and hospital staff who attended the opening event. In welcoming guests to the opening, St Vincent’s Private Hospitals Queensland CEO Oli Steele acknowledged the generous philanthropy of Clive Berghofer OA.

He congratulated Dr Sharyn Donaldson and the team of Breast Health Toowoomba – Drs Ramone Davies, Shirley Chapman and Rosalyn Dunlop – for collectively bringing together over 50 years of breast clinician experience to the Toowoomba community.

Mr Steele said St Vincent’s Toowoomba was proud of the cancer diagnosis, treatment and care that was being developed at the hospital.

The St Vincent's Oncology Centre was opened in early 2026 and compliments the breast, colorectal and melanoma surgery services already available.

The opening of the Clive Berghofer Breast Centre signals a new era for St Vincent’s Toowoomba in which cancer consultation, imaging, diagnosis, surgery and chemotherapy treatment is offered under the one roof.

Breast Health Toowoomba is affiliated only with surgeons who are members of Breast Surgeons of Australia and New Zealand (BreastSurgANZ). The team has 50+ years of combined experience in the area of complex diagnostic and breast health management.
