Biography
Dr Alasdair Grenness is a dual trained Ear, Nose and Throat Surgeon and Audiologist who is passionate about providing excellent ENT care outcomes for both paediatric and adult patients.
Having completed a Master of Clinical Audiology through the University of Melbourne in 2007 he subsequently took a position at the University of Melbourne School of Audiology as both a clinical and academic audiologist in the areas of adult aural rehabilitation and vestibular testing.Inspired by his time spent with the Ear, Nose and Throat Surgeons at the Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital as an Audiologist he subsequently returned to university to complete a postgraduate Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery through Deakin University in 2014.
After working at the Royal Melbourne Hospital as a junior doctor including time spent as a general surgery and trauma registrar he was admitted to the Ear, Nose and Throat Training program in 2020. After gaining broad experience in all aspect of Ear, Nose and Throat surgery through time spent at the Royal Children’s Hospital, University Hospital Geelong, Monash, Austin and Alfred Health, he successfully completed his training in February of 2025 with admission as a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons.
