Biography

Dr Amber Moore is an obstetrician and gynaecologist who provides the full spectrum of obstetric and gynaecological consulting and surgical services, with a particular interest in obstetric care and laparoscopic gynaecological surgery.

Dr Moore places great importance in valuing and caring for each person, including assisting them to make informed choices concerning their treatment, and providing as much personal and face-to-face attention as possible.

She completed a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery at the University of Melbourne in 1991. She was awarded her fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (RANZCOG) in 2000. She also completed a law degree with honours at the University of Melbourne in 2002.

She completed her practical medical training at the Royal Women’s Hospital (Melbourne), Sunshine Hospital and Geelong Hospital, as well as at the Repatriation Hospital in Heidelberg, Stirling Royal Infirmary in Scotland, and the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital in England.

Amber is a current member of the Australian Gynaecological Endoscopy Society and a Fellow of the Australian College of Legal Medicine. She has also held various committee, teaching, training and coordination roles with RANZCOG. She is currently a Federal Councillor for RANZCOG.
