Biography

Dr Amit Verma is a Melbourne-based Dermatologist. He obtained his medical degree in 2009 from Monash University and King’s College London (MBBS, BMedSc [Hons]). He is a Fellow of Australasian College of Dermatologists (FACD).

Amit completed an additional Fellowship in Mohs Micrographic Surgery in Perth with internationally renowned Mohs Dermatologist, Associate Professor Carl Vinciullo. Amit is an Australian-accredited Mohs Micrographic Surgical Dermatologist and has been admitted into the American College of Mohs Surgeons (ACMS) in recognition of his expertise in this area. His area of sub-specialty training is in the field of skin cancer detection, management of high-risk Non-Melanoma and Melanoma skin cancer patients and Mohs Micrographic Skin Cancer Surgery.

He currently supervises Dermatology registrars in surgical sessions at The Alfred Hospital in addition to his private practice.
