Biography
Dr Shailja Singh is delighted to announce Dr Andrée Wade has joined Sonder Paediatrics.
Dr Wade comes to the practice with a wealth of knowledge and experience in both the public and private sectors. She earned her fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP) in 2022, after completing general paediatric training at Toowoomba Hospital, Queensland Children’s Hospital, Sunshine Coast University Hospital and Gold Coast University Hospital. Dr Wade is keen to work alongside children, their families and carers, and other health care providers, to deliver excellent care. She values the involvement of the child or young person in decision making. Dr Wade has admitting rights at St Vincent’s Hospital Toowoomba for children requiring inpatient care, and accepts new clinic referrals from neonates to 16 years of age.In addition to consulting at Sonder Paediatrics, Dr Wade is also involved in the education of medical students through UQ and the training of new paediatricians through RACP.
Dr Wade has two school-aged children and understands some of the competing demands of parenting. She is a Darling Downs local, and is committed to investing in the health of her local community.
