Biography

Dr. Andrew Bradbeer, founder and CEO of Manse Medical, is a specialist in Respiratory, Sleep Medicine, and General Medicine.

He completed his specialty training at St Vincent’s Hospital and Monash Medical Centre in Melbourne, with advanced training at The Royal Brompton Heart and Lung Hospital in London. In 2004, he moved to Hamilton to establish his practice in a rural setting, aiming to provide his children with a country lifestyle. His family has since grown to five children, and he is now a proud grandfather.

Dr. Bradbeer focuses on sleep medicine, with expertise in insomnia, parasomnias, narcolepsy, body-clock disorders, sleep-related movement disorders, snoring, and obstructive sleep apnoea. He also manages chronic respiratory disorders such as asthma, lung cancer, and COPD. Under his leadership, Manse Medical has developed sleep and lung function testing laboratories in underserviced areas, improving access to essential services. He collaborates with specialist doctors and health practitioners across Victoria, Tasmania, New South Wales, Queensland, and South Australia, dedicated to delivering high-quality healthcare to remote communities and disadvantaged people in major population centers. Dr. Bradbeer mentors specialists and trains clinical staff for the lung function and sleep laboratories.

A sought-after speaker on health and wellness topics, Dr. Bradbeer shares his insights widely. Outside of work, he enjoys cooking, often improvising recipes, and finds relaxation in reading, especially crime novels by Ian Rankin, Jane Harper, and Jo Nesbo, and fantasy works by Brandon Sanderson. He particularly enjoys activities involving saltwater, such as paddleboarding, swimming, or windsurfing.

Better and fairer care. Always.

In a rapidly transforming world, St Vincent's has created a refreshed vision and strategy to help shape Australia's health and aged care future.
