Biography
Dr Andrew Patten is an orthopaedic surgeon specialising in hip and knee conditions and orthopaedic trauma.
Born in Charters Towers and raised in Brisbane, Dr Patten completed extensive orthopaedic training in Australia and the UK.His practice has a strong focus on hip and knee arthroplasty, including hip resurfacing for the treatment of arthritis. He also has a particular interest in sports medicine, ligament reconstruction, hip and knee arthroscopy, and trauma surgery.
Dr Patten is committed to the treatment and ongoing management of patients with a broad range of orthopaedic conditions.
He is involved in general orthopaedic trauma management at St Vincent’s Private Hospital Northside, St Andrew’s War Memorial Hospital and Northwest Private Hospital. He is also a Visiting Medical Officer at The Prince Charles Hospital, where he operates in hip, knee and trauma surgery.
