Dr Andrew Rosenstengel is a respiratory and sleep physician focusing on pleural disease, malignant effusions, and lung cancer. He has expertise in pleural ultrasound and indwelling pleural catheters.
Dr Andrew Rosenstengel is a respiratory and sleep physician committed to high quality evidence-based care. He has a particular interest in pleural disease, malignant effusions, advanced bronchoscopy, and lung cancer, and has expertise using pleural ultrasound and indwelling pleural catheters for the management of malignant effusions.Andrew graduated with honours from the University of Queensland (UQ) in 2003. He concluded his specialist training to become Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in 2011 and undertook further training, completing a sleep fellowship at the Prince Charles Hospital before pursuing a further fellowship in pleural disease at the Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital in Perth. During the course of this fellowship he was awarded a Masters of Philosophy in the bacteriology of pleural effusion from UQ.
He's a keen researcher and continues to conduct research into pleural disease. which has been published in eminent journals.
