Dr Annie Hoe is a radiation oncologist with special clinical interest in gastrointestinal, urogenital, neurological (Gamma Knife), prostate, skin and lung cancers.

Graduating from the University of Sydney in 1998, Dr Ho was awarded the fellow of Radiation Oncology of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists in 2005, before commencing a research fellowship on evaluating the health outcomes of men receiving treatment for prostate cancer at the New South Wales Cancer Institute.

Dr Ho's primary interests include treatment of genitourinary (GU) and gastrointestinal (GI) cancers and she has extensive experience in the management of prostate cancer, both in external beam radiotherapy and brachytherapy (including HDR and seed brachytherapy). Following her training at the Seattle Prostate Cancer Institute in Washington, USA, she led the establishment of the prostate brachytherapy program at the Sydney Adventist Hospital in 2007, and has published numerous publications and presentations on the subject.

Dr Ho sub-specialises in Gamma Knife radiosurgery and is actively involved in Gamma Knife Radiosurgery multidisciplinary team meetings, as well as the GI and GU tumour boards at Macquarie University Hospital and St Vincent’s hospital. She also participates in regular skin cancer collaborative meetings with dermatologists at the Skin hospital in Sydney.
