Biography

Dr Anthony (Tony) Dowling is a medical oncologist with a particular clinical interest in brain, genitourinary and breast cancers.

He is committed to providing high-quality, compassionate and individualised care that is informed by the latest cancer research.

Tony graduated from the University of Melbourne and then went on to complete specialist oncology training in both Melbourne and at one of the world’s largest cancer centres, the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre in Canada. He’s subsequently undertaken additional fellowship training at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York, studying the management of high-grade gliomas.

Outside of his clinical practice, Tony is actively involved in research, routinely contributes to cancer support groups, and has an appointment as Senior Lecturer at the University of Melbourne.
