Biography

Dr Claire Iseli is a Melbourne-based ear, nose and throat (ENT) surgeon who sees people requiring ear, nose and throat surgery; especially related to the ear, such as cochlear implants and Meniere’s disease.

Dr Iseli has clinical interests in ear surgery, cochlear implants and skull-base tumour surgery.

Claire completed her core ear, nose and throat training in Victoria and then went on to complete a 2-year otology/neurotology fellowship with focus on skull-base tumours, general otology and cochlear implants in adults and children at the University of North Carolina in the USA.

Claire has a masters of surgery in Meniere's disease and has also been involved in extensive research on cochlear implants and tumours of the brainstem. She teaches medical students at the University of Melbourne and helps oversee the University of Melbourne Audiology Service.
