Biography

Dr Danielle Freeman is a Melbourne-based neonatal paediatrician who provides passionate and empathetic care for newborn babies and their parents.

Dr Freeman is a neonatal paediatrician with clinical interests in antenatal counselling, resuscitation, ethics and patient safety.

Dani graduated with honours from the University of Melbourne in 2003 and completed her internship at St Vincent's Hospital. She then undertook paediatric training at the Royal Children's Hospital. Dani completed her subspecialty training in neonatal and perinatal medicine at the Mercy Hospital for Women and in 2012 she undertook a fellowship in neonatology in Toronto Canada, at the Hospital for Sick Children.

Dani has also worked with the Newborn Emergency Transport Service, stabilising and transporting sick babies from all over Victoria.
