Biography
Dr. Doron Hickey is a clinician-scientist in ophthalmology, with a particular focus on medical retina, ocular genetics and cataract.
He holds a PhD in retinal gene therapy from the University of Oxford and has fellowship training in ocular genetics and medical retina, as well as extensive experience in laboratory and clinical studies.Doron is a consultant ophthalmologist at the Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital and a Clinical Trials Research Fellow at the Centre for Eye Research Australia.
Doron is dedicated to providing excellent care for his patients. He achieves this by explaining conditions and treatment options thoroughly, providing access to the latest evidence-based treatments, and connecting patients with relevant clinical trials.
