Biography

Dr Farzan Bahin is a gastroenterologist with expertise in gastroenterology, hepatology and complex therapeutic endoscopy. He is committed to delivering high-quality, comprehensive care, supported by extensive training in leading academic hospitals and a strong background in clinical research and innovation.

Dr Bahin completed a PhD focused on advancements in endoscopy, contributing to the development and irefinement of modern endoscopic techniques. He has authored numerous scientific publications, received several prestigious academic awards, and is actively involved in peer review for multiple international endoscopy journals. In addition to his clinical practice, he serves as a clinical lecturer at several universities, where he contributes to the education and training of future specialists.

His clinical interests include colorectal cancer screening and complex therapeutic endoscopy, with particular expertise in advanced polypectomy, third space endoscopy, ERCP, gastrointestinal stenting and endoscopic dilation. Dr Bahin is also involved in advising on innovations in endoscopic technology and techniques.

Dr Bahin is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) and a member of the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ASGE). Through his clinical, academic and research work, he is dedicated to advancing the early detection and minimally invasive treatment of gastrointestinal diseases.
