Biography
Dr Imrana Mohammad is a Consultant General Paediatrician providing specialist care for infants, children and adolescents.
She is committed to delivering thoughtful, evidence-based medicine while building trusted, long-term relationships with children and their families. Her approach is centred on listening, understanding each child's unique needs, and partnering with families to achieve the best possible health and developmental outcomes.Dr Mohammad has trained and practised across Queensland hospitals, including Queensland Children's Hospital, Mater Mothers' Hospital Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), Logan Hospital, Caboolture Hospital and Mackay Base Hospital. She has extensive experience in the assessment and management of a broad range of paediatric conditions, from common childhood illnesses to complex medical, developmental and behavioural presentations.
Dr Mohammad completed her medical degree at Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (India) before undertaking a Diploma of Child Health at the University of Sydney and completing specialist paediatric training in Australia. She is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP).
Based in Toowoomba, Dr Mohammad is proud to support children and families throughout the Darling Downs and surrounding communities by providing accessible, high-quality specialist paediatric care close to home. She works collaboratively with families, general practitioners, schools and allied health professionals to deliver coordinated, individualised care that supports every child to reach their full potential.
