Biography

Dr Jennifer Dew is an obstetrician and gynaecologist. She has interests in advanced laparoscopic surgery, vaginal surgery, endometriosis, abnormal uterine bleeding, colposcopy and menopause.

Dr Dew graduated from the University of New South Wales (UNSW), undertaking her internship and residency at Gosford District and Royal Prince Alfred Hospitals, Sydney. She obtained her Fellowship in 1995 after concluding her specialist training in both the UK and at the Royal Hospital for Women, Paddington. Jennifer then completed a post-graduate doctorate, MD, through UNSW, and pursued further post-graduate training in advanced laparoscopic surgery in Toronto, Canada.

Since being appointed in 1998, Jennifer has offered gynaecological care to the patients of St Vincent’s Clinic and Private Hospital. She has been Chairman and Head of the Department of Gynaecology and Obstetrics at the St Vincent’s Clinic and Private Hospital, and has sat on the Patient Care and Review Committee, since 2011. Jennifer was appointed to the St Vincent’s Clinic Medical Council and Board in 2017.
