Biography

Dr Jonathan Livesey is an ear, nose and throat surgeon who is passionate about caring holistically for you and your family. He provides an attentive ear and time to listen, examine, explain and plan the management of your condition.

Dr Livesey completed his medical studies at Oxford. After five years globetrotting as a GP and then general surgeon, he trained as an ear, nose and throat (ENT) surgeon in England and Brisbane. He is specifically interested, experienced and skilled in general children’s and adult ENT, recurrent sinusitis, nasal obstruction, snoring, sleep apnoea, nasal polyps, nose bleeds, tonsils, bony growths and voice problems requiring medical or surgical treatment.

Dr Livesey is Chair of the Mater Medical Staff Association (Sydney) and past Chair of the Division of ENT at both the Mater and Hunters Hill Hospitals. He is a founder as well as past board member of both the Laryngology Society of Australasia and the Australian Society for Performing Arts Healthcare. He is also a past President of the Australian Voice Association.
