Biography

Dr Kylie Burns is a specialist in cardiology who is dedicated to improving her patients’ health and wellbeing by providing high quality treatment solutions.

Dr Kylie Burns has a special interest in rural health services and obstetric cardiology. After completing her medical degree and advanced cardiology training, Kylie undertook two further fellowships: a fellowship in adult congenital heart disease at the Prince Charles Hospital, and a fellowship in cardiac imaging at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital where she was able to pursue her interest in obstetric cardiology.

As well as having consulted at hospitals across Brisbane, Kylie also has extensive experience treating rural and remote communities, and believes that all people in regional Queensland should have access to the same high standard of care as those in metropolitan areas.
