Biography
Dr Lance Liu is a Melbourne-based ophthalmologist offering specialist care in the areas of glaucoma and cataract surgery. He takes the time to listen to people’s symptoms and concerns before suggesting best-practice treatment options.
Dr Liu is interested in glaucoma (angle closure and pigment dispersion), gonioscopy, anterior segment imaging, cataract surgery and glaucoma practice patterns.Lance graduated from the University of Melbourne in 1992 before completing his ophthalmology training at the Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital.
He then undertook international fellowship training in glaucoma at Moorfield’s Eye Hospital in the UK, the National University of Singapore and the Wills Eye Hospital in the USA.
He is also involved with the Sight for All Foundation and the Australia Health Humanitarian Aid organisation, which provides teaching and aid for cataract and glaucoma in Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam.
