Biography

Dr Mark Krawczyszyn is a cardiologist who consults on matters of general cardiology (chest pain, palpitations, shortness of breath, dizziness, syncope, and other symptoms) as well as hypertension, arrhythmias, ischemic heart disease, valvular heart disease, heart failure and other cardiac problems.

Mark received a medical degree with honours from the University of Melbourne in 1993 and carried out basic physician training at St Vincent’s Hospital in Melbourne.

He became a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians after completing his specialist cardiology training at the Alfred Hospital in 2000, then went on to gain 4 years of research experience at the Baker Institute focussing on heart failure in mouse models of cardiomyopathy.

He has subsequently concluded advanced echocardiography training and obtained a Diploma of Diagnostic Ultrasound in 2003.
